CII

The Confederation of Indian Industries is a not-for-profit, non government industry led body. The CII is India's foremost business association, with a membership of over 6300 private and public organizations, thereby playing an active role in India's development process. The CII acts as a facilitator working closely with the government on policy issues, expanding business opportunities for the ITES/BPO industry and providing a platform for networking with global linkages.

CII's ideology has been that of "Competitiveness for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth". The confederation maintains that the route to any organizations success is to be competitive in today's environment. To carry this theme forward the CII provides professional consulting to help the industry meet it's goals and stay ahead by making them self reliant and develop strategies that will help them deal with present and future challenges.

CII is focused on initiatives that will improve the all round development and competitiveness of the ITES/BPO industry by enhancing corporate governance, infrastructure and increase the productivity and profitability of the industries workforce.
